8 Things: Paris

Paris has become one of my favorite cities in the past year - for sure. I simply love the vibe, the architecture, the cafés, the bakeries, the luxury boutiques at the same time as fleemarkets and small little shops.

I gattered some of my favorite places, restaurants and hotspots in this post - enjoy!

1. Sunday Breakfast at O COFFEE

This breakfast place is simply amazing. We had to wait a bit to get one of the few tables in the little café, but waiting was worth every second!

adress: 23 rue du Lorumel, 75007 Paris, France

2. Eiffel Tower Photo Spot

Of course - taking cool photos is always on my agenda when on a trip. And for sure, a typical photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background is mandatory. As I am not a fan of "the typical tourist spots", that are the first hits on google and co., I prefer the less crowded places.
I love walking around the city and discovering spots to take a nice photo at - one of my favorites:

Passerelle Debilly, 75007 Paris, France

3. Breakfast at COUTUME

Pancakes with peaches and salted nuts - so good!

COUTUME is one of those "popular Instagram places" but still very cool! The coffee specialities are delicious, the food is perfect.
As many cool cafés in Paris, this place is crowded during breakfast hours but we were lucky and found a table right away. Also, it is quite pricy - but again - such as most cool places in Paris.

4. "Instagram Hotspot" in PIGALLE

This basketball court in Pigalle is probably one of the fanciest and most "instagrammed".

Mostly, some basketball players are actively playing on the court, so "insta bloggers" are not always welcome there. Watch out for the breaks and simply be nice and you'll be able to take your photos!

adress: 24 rue Duperré, 75009 Paris, France

5. "Croissant to Go" on a city stroll

One of my favorite things to do when in Paris, is going in one of the very french bakeries and picking up a freshly baked croissant - take it "to go" and stroll through the streets!

6. Walk from Tour Eiffel to Le Jardin des Tuileries & the Louvre - along the Seine

lonely chair in le Jardin des Tuileries.
Palais Royal: grab a coffee at Café Kitsune and enjoy the vibe!

One of my favorite routes to walk is the one along the river Seine. If you start from Tour Eiffel, you'll see the Palais de Tokyo, the bridge Pont Alexandre III or the Place de la Concorde and end up in the Jardin des Tuileries. If you walk through the gardens, you'll see the Louvre and the Palais Royal. It will take you a while to get there but if you want to explore the city, this is the best route to see all great sights - and you're step counter on your phone will be proud of you!

7. Shopping at LE BON MARCHÉ

Shopping options are endless in Paris. Besides the huge (and super crowded) Galeries Lafayette, Rue Cambon, Rue Saint-Honoré or the Marais Quarter, LE BON MARCHÉ is the best place (in my opinion) for shopping.
I love the shop, it has so many great brands and selected styles. It has typical parisian styles available, at the same time as international fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

adress: 24 Rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris, Frankreich

8. Dinner at TRIPLETTA

Mixed veggies with a lot of ricotta - so amazing!
One of my favorite italian food places is definitely TRIPLETTA. The salads are amazing and so are the drinks and the pizza!

adress: 88 Boulevard de Belleville, Paris, France (more locations available)
